Alok Achkar Peres Petrillo (born August 26, 1991, in Goiânia, Brazil) is a globally acclaimed Brazilian DJ, musician, and record producer known for his 2016 hit "Hear Me Now." Alok has been ranked 4th in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs since 2021, making him the highest-ranked Brazilian DJ. Born to psytrance pioneers Swarup and Ekanta, Alok grew up immersed in music. He started DJing at 12 with his twin brother Bhaskar, later forming the duo "Lógica." Transitioning to solo work, he gained fame with his unique Brazilian Bass sound. Alok also founded Controversia Records in 2019, further solidifying his legacy.
