Billboard Saturdays, often referred to as "Billboards", is named after what the venue used to be called. Billboard open in 1980, and has since rebranded to 170 Russell when Lucky Entertainment took over as owners of the venue. Billboard Saturdays is one of the biggest events in the Melbourne CBD and has been for a long time.

Music & Entertainment

Billboard Saturdays make use of all the entertainment bells and whistles that 170 Russell has to offer. Similar to Lucky Thursdays, Billboard Saturdays plays a mix of Party Anthems, Commercial, Electronic "Bangers", The Melbourne Sound/Bounce and other variants of electronic music. The Bunker which is also used on Saturdays, plays music more of a techno, house and electronic style of music.

Crowd

Billboard Saturdays draw an older crowd than Lucky Thursday, wherein, the majority of people are between the ages 20-26 years old. Billboards, at 170 Russell, attract a crowd from all over Melbourne and is often busy till the early hours of the morning, till close.
