Levels

Promoter: Levels Ent

Levels as an event brand has played a huge part of Melbourne's Nightlife Scene for over a decade. Like most events in Melbourne on a Saturday, Levels is $30 entry free, in addition to a range of birthday and VIP packages. Levels started around 2012 as a Nightclub at 139 Lonsdale St, with a Saturday event called Nightcrawler Saturdays. Levels, as a brand, then moved to Platform One and ran their Saturdays until 2019, while 139 Lonsdale rebranded as Two Floors Up (TFU). Over 2015-2016, Levels ran some takeovers events at TFU, before the venue's closure in 2016. Towards the end of 2019, Levels moved to Brown Alley and has been there since. Levels Entertainment, the now parent company of Levels, is a conglomeration of the Two Floors Up Brand, which is now called Dirty Days, and Mango Fridays at La Di Da's.

Music & Entertainment

The music at Levels is a mix of Party Anthems and Electronic Dance Music, taking a lot of inspiration from 2012-2015 Ministry of Sound style and Melbourne's own electronic scene. Expect a range of hard bangers, well known songs and a bit of house, techno and RnB.

Crowd

Levels draws a crowd from all over Melbourne. The age range tends to be younger, mostly around 18-22 years old. There is not a strict dress code but people usually dress fine but not to the 9s and 10s. Levels opens at 10pm but doesn't start to pick up until 11:30/12, sometimes earlier. As the ground level begins to fill up, they open up the upstairs. Because of this expansion of the space, it is unlikely to reach full capacity on an average night. Levels stays busy until the earlier hours of the morning.
