Lucky Thursdays is run by Lucky Entertainment. Having started in 2012, Lucky Entertainment are a huge Melbourne multi-faceted parent company of a number brands across a number of industries. Lucky Thursday was been at the pinnacle of Melbourne Thursday night events for a number of years. Lucky Thursdays is $5 with a uni or student card and $20 otherwise.

Music & Entertainment

Lucky Thursdays, at 170 Russell, makes use of the huge venue and world class entertainment production. With in-built CO2 cannons, an array of lighting, large LED screens and high quality speakers, Lucky Thursdays put on a captivating show. In addition to the main room, is a smaller room called 'The Bunker'. The Bunker has less of the bright light, wow-factor as the main room and more of a darker, rave-style set-up. In the main room, Lucky Thursdays plays a mix of music, ranging from Party Anthems, Commercial, Electronic "Bangers", The Melbourne Sound/Bounce and other variants of electronic music. Whereas, the Bunker is more of the techno and house genres, including mixing in a number of their respective subgenres.

As Thursday Nights are the typical uni night, Lucky Thursdays most prominent age demographic is 18-22 years old. As Lucky Thursdays is a very popular event, it sees people from all over Melbourne, including the inner-city and outer suburbs.
