‍The Paragon is a bar in the city near Circular Quay. ‍ It's imminent surroundings feel a bit grubby, but if you wander 3-5 minutes you can be in the Rocks and have harbour bridge and opera house views, so it is a really good location. It also has a Macca's next door \*tick\*. ‍ Downstairs is a derro pub (which we are all about) for pokies, sport and a beer. A lot of tradies and suits go there after work. There are hardly any women that go downstairs. ‍ Upstairs is much nicer, with an open air garden and covered area with high roofs. It has a leafy feel, so has a pleasant feel when having a drink/meal. For the most part, it is reserved for a lunchtime or after work meal and drink. It is probably busiest after work on Friday. ‍ In summer though, they randomly host a DJ event upstairs on Saturday's. This brings in a much younger, under 22 crowd, that are seemingly from the north shore or northern beaches. It's busyness is pretty volatile.
