The Provincial Hotel on the corner of Brunswick St and Johnson St in Fitzroy is referred to as The Prov by locals. The Provincial is known for its rooftop views of the city skyline and the Fitzroy area. ‍ On a Friday and Saturday, The Prov gets a Dance Floor in the back corner room. It constantly is busy but rarely reaches capacity due to the amount of space in the venue surrounding the dance floor.
