‍The Bottom End was originally a traditional Irish pub until 2012, thereafter becoming just a normal pub with less Irish symbolism and ties. The Bottom End operates as a pub during the week, but on a Saturday becomes one of Melbourne's most popular Nightclub, named 'Xe54'. ‍ Xe54 is a massive Saturday night event at The Bottom End pub, with a capacity of 1420 across 3 levels. While Xe54 is ultimately an electronic music night, each of the different levels have a slight variation on house, techno, electro and disco. Xe54 is run by huge Melbourne Event Organisers and Touring Agents called Untitled Group. Xe54 started in 2017 and has seen some of Melbourne's biggest and best DJs take the stage, including Dom Dolla, Cassette For Kids, Luke Alessi, Laura King and many more.
