Billboard Saturdays, often referred to as "Billboards", is named after what the venue used to be called. Billboard open in 1980, and has since rebranded to 170 Russell when Lucky Entertainment took over as owners of the venue. Billboard Saturdays is one of the biggest events in the Melbourne CBD and has been for a long time.
170 Russell is a large live music venue and nightclub, depending on the day and event. The venue opened as Lido Theatre in 1965 and showcased some of the largest live music acts in Melbourne.
